Smiling EVERY DAY... from the inside out

A major lesson learned is that one has to breathe...
Last year this time I was exhausted... 
there is a different type of tired this year
an exalted sense of accomplishment.
Shooting an Annual event is a challenge...
you only have that one time
you want to get as much as possible
process as much as possible
document as much as possible
yet you're one person
cataloguing

for what purpose
other than for the practices and norms
of the current generations to be accessible to those to come
those who wont have corner griots
those who wont have interaction with one who's
knowledge of their Ancestors is pure
time erodes memories
I play a little part in making sure they are still intact

When one knows better hopefully one does better
Answers are given when the correct question is presented
When I look at HOW I do what I do a year later
Im grateful
to not being afraid to ask questions
they have saved me time, energy and brain cells

It's a new time
this vibe aint like regular
and the waves of it are going to move through the world
through suffering there is
enlightenment
